Information on What We Sell

Designer's Choice: A majority of the products sold by Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. are indicated as Designer's Choice. By this, it is meant that an arrangement is made not following a set recipe for flowers, design, or appearance. A benefit of Designer's Choice is that it ensures originality and uniqueness in design on an order-to-order basis. Additionally, selecting Designer's Choice can allow for more current and in-season flower selection. Regardless of order type, Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. maintains the same quality and freshness standards on all arrangements sold. Designer's Choice arrangements can be easily customized and tailored to fit a customer's personal preferences. In certain cases, a customer may request for specific colors, flowers, or for an overall theme to be used when ordering a Designer's Choice arrangement. Much effort will be made to match all specified requests as closely as possible.

Substitutions: In some situations, a substitution of flower, greenery, container, or other decorative accent, or item color(s), may take place in order to create an arrangement required to fulfill an order. This applies to both catalog standard recipe arrangements, and to any special requests made by a customer. Being that flowers are a perishable good, to ensure maximum freshness possible, should an on-hand flower or greenery type ever be deemed unusable when required to create a specific catalog design, a substitution may occur. When one flower or greenery type is used in place of another, an arrangement will always be filled to the appropriate value. In many substitution cases, an arrangement may even be made with product of a higher value, while not impacting the overall cost of the arrangement. For example, if a catalog recipe calls for three carnations and carnations are not available, two roses may be used instead. While the number of stems used has been reduced, the arrangement is still filled to value. To ensure the same overall look and feel of a catalog design is maintained, substitutions may be a necessary course of action.

Natural Variation and Freshness of Product: Flowers and greenery are natural plant items, meaning that some variation in coloration, size, or fullness of a flower or stem of greenery is to be expected. Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. maintains high standards for quality and freshness. We understand that variation is bound to be encountered as a natural occurrence out of our control. If a customer is not satisfied with the quality of an arrangement, in conjunction with our stated returns and refunds policies, they are to contact Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. to discuss this matter.

Caring for your Arrangement: All our orders are delivered with care instructions printed on the order tag. To ensure maximum vase life of an arrangement, we suggest a number of steps that can be taken. Frequent water changes mean totally emptying a vase or container of water, rinsing it out to remove any accumulated debris, then refilling with fresh water. Water changes should be performed daily to help extend the life of an arrangement. Keeping an arrangement away from extreme temperatures, drafts, out of direct sunlight, and avoiding severe fluctuations in environment parameters, can also help to extend vase life. Using caution when removing faded or spent blooms, or when emptying out a container is advised as to avoid naturally sharp or irregular edges on cut flower stems.

Allergies and Pet Safe Plant Material: When it is known that a recipient faces sensitivity to certain flowers or greenery, Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. is to be informed at time of purchase to not use any said flowers or greenery types in an arrangement sent to that recipient. Additionally, if it is known that a recipient has pets, and sending flowers is an area of concern, please leave a note requesting only pet-safe flowers and greenery be used when placing an order, and only pet-safe flowers and greenery will be used to fulfill the order.

Company Information

Responsibilities of Business: Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. sells services and goods in exchange for monetary payment. When a customer places an order, with all proper ordering procedures being followed, with all delivery, payment, and other necessary information being inputted correctly, Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. agrees to initiate an order; and will continue with its completion and delivery on designated delivery date. Information provided by the customer is to be as accurate as possible in order for Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. to fulfill its transactional commitment to the customer when a purchase of goods and services from the company has been made. Should any issues regarding: payment, delivery information, etc., prevent Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. from successfully processing an order, the company with pause work on that order and contact the customer as soon as possible to resolve this matter. While Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. agrees to produce and deliver an order of purchased goods, certain situations may prevent successful delivery to a recipient. Delivery Policies: There are multiple types of delivery offered by Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. Same-day delivery is available on all qualifying orders placed before designated cut off times listed on the website under the “Delivery Information” section. Scheduling a delivery in advance is highly encouraged. Under certain circumstances, orders may not be able to be placed when the number of daily deliveries we are able to accept has been filled to capacity. Additional limitations to our delivery service include the inability to deliver to areas outside of our service zone, the inability to deliver to certain address types, and unsuccessful delivery due to inclement weather. Current information on our service zone and types of addresses where we do not deliver is listed on our website. Contactless delivery is an option available to our customers; we will leave an item at the front porch of the recipient, followed by an optional courtesy call to the recipient if a customer selects contactless delivery and requests for a courtesy call to be made. Our normal delivery procedure is to hand an arrangement directly to the recipient, unless otherwise specified by the customer at time of checkout. If a recipient is unavailable or their location cannot be accessed, we will leave a delivery with a neighbor, front desk, security personnel, building office, etc.; or at the porch of the delivery site, followed by an optional courtesy call to the recipient informing them of where their delivery is located.

Currency and Sales Tax: We conduct all business transactions using U.S. currency. An 8.25% rate of sales tax applies to all local orders placed within Austin; being that the State of Texas is an origin-based sales tax state. For purchases made outside of the vicinity, sales tax rates are automatically calculated and will be determined at time of sale. Taxes are applied in both price of goods sold and the $15.00 standard delivery fee. Prices shown on the site do not include tax. Total will update to reflect included taxes and fees during checkout.

Ownership of Certain Site Media: Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. offers an online shopping experience. Images presented within the catalog are those of the company and are visual representations of the types of goods offered for sale. Content such as: photographs, item descriptions, and catalog item names, etc., are material original to the company. Our website exists to be used for the sole purpose of an online store, from which customers can place orders for flower delivery within our designated service zone.

Use of Our Services: When purchasing from Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C., it is agreed that customers are to refrain from using our services to harass or provide unwanted attention to another individual. The customer agrees that goods and services provided by Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. will not be used as a way to bring distress or cause disturbance to any individual person or group of persons.

Concerns Regarding an Order

Returns and Refunds: Once an item has been delivered, Verdant Bloom Floral Art L.L.C. is unable to accept returns on items that fail to meet customer expectations. We will, however, gladly issue a refund of a reasonable amount on a case-by-case basis for product purchased, less delivery fee and labor cost percentage when we are informed of any complaints a customer may have regarding item(s) ordered. Alternatively, if the quality, craftsmanship, or overall appearance of an arrangement is found to be unsatisfactory, a replacement may be offered in lieu of a refund. Please contact us for any issues regarding an order and to determine whether a refund or replacement is sufficient compensation for the error.

Cancellation Policy: If a customer decides to cancel an order that has already been processed, they are to inform of this request for cancellation as soon as possible by phone call or through email communication. It is preferred that cancellation requests be issued at least one hour prior to set delivery time slot, as it does pose some difficulty to cancel an order when an item is already out on delivery. We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests and will issue a full refund electronically. Refund posting times will vary depending on bank. If a refund has not posted within an acceptable time frame, contact us to review this situation.

Damaged or Defective Hard Good Items: Verdant Bloom Floral Art will not willingly and consciously deliver obviously damaged or defective non-perishable hard goods, such as: vases, containers, balloons, specialty gift items, etc. All hard goods undergo visual and physical inspection prior to being used. Hard goods with slight blemishes, bubbles, indentations, roughness in surface, minor surface scratches, or inconsistencies in texture, coloration, shape etc., when deemed to not pose as too much of a distraction to the overall arrangement, may still be used. A non-perishable hard good item is considered obviously damaged or defective if it bears any of the following: cracks, tears, unintentional holes, or other potentially hazardous damage. Should a customer find quality standards fail to meet their expectations, please contact us during normal business hours to discuss further steps that can be regarding this matter.

Stolen Delivery: Much effort will be made to ensure a recipient receives their delivery on the correct date during the selected time slot. Unless contactless delivery is selected, we will physically hand an arrangement to the recipient; or follow through with the procedures outlined in our delivery policies when a recipient is not present or is unavailable. If suspected theft of items ordered has occurred, please contact us during normal business hours to discuss options on how we can provide help through this situation.
